Welcome to Mole Screening Centres

If you are of Caucasian descent and you grew up in
South Africa and you get old enough, your chances of
getting non-melanoma skin cancer is close to 100%.

The incidence of skin cancer in South Africa is among the highest in the world and is on the increase, with more than 20 000 cases diagnosed annually. Melanoma is the most dangerous form of skin cancer claiming up to 250 lives nationally each year.

If diagnosed early enough, melanoma is completely curable. If not treated promptly, it can be fatal.

Mole Screening Centre operates a network of centres for mole screening throughout South Africa. These centres make use of the Molemax computer system which provides advanced mole and melanoma screening.

The MoleMax system examination is quick, painless and non-evasive detecting over 90% of melanomas.

Our aim is to detect skin cancer as early as possible so as to reduce deaths from melanoma and reduce unnecessary mole removal. Visit here to find a mole screening centre near you.
